En journal style weblog er en weblog som bl.a. er først i dagbogsstil, et eksempel er hende.dk som er en dagbogsskrivende kvinde i trediverne, som inddrager hele verden i sit private liv.

‘My Interests
Ok, after having given up on life, nothing interested me anymore - no hobbies or pursuits - the things that one happily occupies his or her time with.
Well, if it's any indication that my life has become worth living - I now have several interests. Probably too many, and now I don't have enough time for them all.
Blogging is more than just fun, it's fulfilling, it's redeming. I also like to play texas holdem poker. And last week, after a long dry spell, I finally won. I also like knitting, and I like bike riding. I can get the bike riding in as I travel around the city taking care of errands. Poker comes once a week, like clockwork, at a friend's house. I'm totally addicted to blogging. Withdrawal symtoms begin within 24 hours of my last post. The interest that I have the least time for is knitting. But knitting makes me money. I'll have to make some adjustments in my schedule - hell, if I just made a schedule, and stuck to it, I'd be alright, I guess. All-in-all, life is good, and getting better.’
